April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on July 4th July, began taking guitar and piano lessons at age seven. Her interest in songwriting was awakened. When she was 12 years old, April came up with her first original song Different. When she was 14 April spent a lot of her time writing and practicing songs. In the following months, she began taking writing excursions along with her father in LA as well as NY. April also included additional topics in her track, Take my Hand. These topics were meant for the friends of hers who struggled with issues such as peer pressure disabilities or even teen suicidal thoughts. Lockhart also has an ever-growing fan base as a lifestyle blogger and works for popular brand of clean and natural beauty Ilia. It's true that she was born with no left hand, and it creates her unique. However, this isn't the only characteristic of her. Lockhart's profile on Twitter doesn't shy away from her being disabled, but neither does it concentrate on the fact that she is disabled. The profile is a statement. The message is: We all have numerous identities. We're much more complex than we think we are. Lockhart, via video message from Nashville home, states that I do not want that to be a part of my character. I am more than my physical self. The fact that she is a disability influencer doesn't impact my daily life. All is well and I've learned to adapt. It's a big aspect of my existence, so it is important to talk about the subject. The journey of self-acceptance that Lockhart has taken is one that will last for a long time, and she is an inspiration in this regard. She admits that she has been through times when she was uncomfortable the way she dressed and displayed her arms. She dresses according to her preferences and posts photos of herself dressed in outfits she chooses on social media. The journey itself is the key thing I don't know that you ever arrive she says of self-love. However, that is common for anyone who has insecurities. I think it is important to surround yourself with people who can really understand your.
