Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 in 1967. Julia Fona Roberts is the fourth generation of Roberts that resided in Atlanta. Her father had the first interest to the theatre. As in school at Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. Following his air force service In 1953, he starred in an air force production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. Both married in 2005 and welcomed their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter went to Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after he left the Airforce in 1957. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the family relocated in Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou began producing a children's television program in the city of Decatur, Georgia titled Bum Bum and His Buddies. They funded the show their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was founded in 1964 and ran for 6 years. During this time they had two more kids Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965 in 1965 and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
